Yes, it happens.
I have built some longer term and short, deep connections with people on the fora. I have some long-standing connections with people I originally met for sex or in a club.
It can happen, but it takes time and work. A lot of people want an instant connection without much effort.

I have a real good connection with a man from here we have never met but we talk everyday about everything! I think I would go as far as to say I love him a little if that is possible without meeting ! We first started chating couple years ago! Then march last year we were both on furlough and started chating daily and we still do x |

I’m too new really, as I only joined up a few weeks ago. But I’ve been impressed with this forum and the people in it! In fact, I probably prefer it to the messages. |

Aww, that’s a lovely story. But aren’t you tempted just to arrange a meet ... even if only as friends?!
I can understand why you might want to keep a bit of mystique though. There’s nothing worse than meeting after a prolonged period of messaging, and the chemistry just isn’t there. |

Not yet but I'm hoping to as going out for a drink/laugh with people will be infinity better than being sat staring at the walls of my flat when I'm not doing anything else |

Unfortunately not met anyone or made any new connections with , which I would really love to do, I always send out polite messages , I’ve not been to clubs for a while. I would love to chat to women and to see where things lead . |
