Hi thanks for reading our thread, we have used a swing a few times in various clubs and really enjoyed it, so we want to buy our own and wondered if anyone had any advice on which on is the best?
We are both on the curvy side so it needs to be able to support our weight, also has anyone had any experience fitting one or is it best to buy a frame aswell?
Thanks again for any advice given Jack and Soph x |

start with the frame or not to frame....check your ceiling joists.
nothing worse than ending up on the floor tied up in your straps facing paramedics and the fire crews with their cutting gear! |

I did a quick Google before replying to your post.
To be honest most of the advice out there is pretty slim, for example Love Honey claim to give advice, but the advice they give is the bleedingly obvious type of advice.
Without meaning to be rude, I'd decide if one or both of you would want to be "in the swing" and then check with the supplier that it will take your current weight, ie if it's wieght restricted to say 20 stone and your man wants to use it and weighs 22 stone , then don't buy it.
Second if your buying one that is going to be fitted into a ceiling joist, make sure you do it properly and if your the sort of couple whom trying to put up shelves straight is impossible then get one of these handyman companies in to do it for you.
Apart from that it seems you can buy them from £28 upwards, might be worth seeing if theres a good sex shop near where you live and go in and have a look at what you want rather than just buying off the internet.
Final thought would be if you go to clubs and they have one you like ask the management where they got it from and you might be able to buy the same model. |
