Usual check in, what colours are your nails ladies and gents?
I’ve finally ditched the metallic green and now I have all different colours of pink (peach, neon pink, baby pink, latte and sparkly pink)
And they are gel shellac so they really do look pretty x

"Currently a nude (not ballet slippers!). Trying to decide on Halloween themed nails! It's a tough decision.
What are you thinking tho beaut? Xx "
Maybe Scream nails? Or or or! Fang nails. So stiletto white with blood dripping off them on the thumb and little finger, the rest curved and white. Or matte black with a reverse french manicure in a blood like red. Or maybe Frankenstein with a green tip and the stitching at the lower half?
Kyllliiiie I just don't know! x |

Currently sparkly navy, grey and silver glitter on one finger. I liked them at the time but I'll be glad to change them in a couple of weeks.
Planning red with one leopard print |

I keep thinking metallic blue. Deep blue.
They are flakey at the ends though. I need to find out why. |

Those of you that have your nails done, what is it that makes you go somewhere to have them done rather than doing it yourself?
Those of you who do them yourself, why do you do it yourself instead of going somewhere to have it done? |

I do any nail work myself because it’s easy to do. My nails are all natural so no shop visit needed. |

Because I like the feeling of being pampered and having a bit of time to myself. I'm not really a girly girl but I feel better when they are done.
I have the disposable income to do so - I get them done every few months and it's £20.
They're my natural nails but it's fair to say that when I attempt to paint them they look absolutely crap. You know, paint all around the finger. Probably some in my hair.
As someone who used to play the violin for a couple hours every bleedin' day, it's really nice to not have short stumpy nails and rough fingers. |

Mine are my natural nails but I like to go and get them done because she does a much better job than I could ever do. I enjoy looking at designs and thinking about what I'll have - it's like a hobby, haha! And I enjoy the social aspect of getting to know my technician and chatting to the other girls in the salon. And it supports a woman in business. |

Sometimes I do them myself sometimes I go to the salon! The salon is usually a treat as prices are £35-40 in my area
And sometimes I like doing them myself and learn new techniques and how to apply properly and it’s fun! And I ain’t that bad
I can’t to design so if I want something special I definitely book the expert |

I do my own - I can do them when I have sufficient time and it costs my the materials. If I went to a salon I’m time restricted and it costs a fortune. And it’s difficult to find a really good nail technician |

One of my nails started breaking off (it rarely happens) as it’s quite long… how do I save it? "
You let her go. She’ll be a disappointment to her sisters but it will be an example to the rest of them to toe the line. |

First time having acrylics tomorrow, just to match my outfit for Halloween. Long black stiletto shape, with some witchcraft nail art.
Then back to my natural nail and 'angelic dreams' colour changing gel. When it's warm your nails are a light white/blue then when they get cold it's bright blue. |

For the first time ever I actually have very long nails that are all my own, I am sure I am getting on doughnuts nerves keep asking him to open things for me lol.
They have clear nail varnish on as I can't wear varnish to work, I mean strictly speaking I probably shouldn't have them this long.
