Does any of you feel like you unconsciously watch what you eat?
I don’t do it on purpose but I somehow seem to watch what I eat without realising, I don’t count grams or anything but I tend to say have portions that in my head I think … that’s more than enough. (I do this with almost anything)
The measure is usually like a fist but I just now by looking at it it I’m going overboard.
Or I notice for example how I’d either have half a chunky Kit Kat and leave the other half for another time cos it’d be too much. I don’t do it on purpose but I wonder if it’s become like a little OCD of mine , one that I’m not very concious about.
Or sometimes I do drink Diet Coke/Coke zero at home but I’d buy the small glass 25cl bottles or a can only and I’d drink about a quarter of it every few days.. as in my mind I think it’s unhealthy.
I want to point out I don’t calorie count anymore but I got to a stage in my life that I would put anything on the MyFitnessPal and yeah, that got way out of hand

I don’t calorie/macro count, but I do try to make sure I have a balanced diet of Protein, carbs & fats. Things like chocolate I only have one piece (dark) and if I eat nuts I just have a handful. I don’t weigh things out though… |

Wish it was that easy x I mean I do , but it’s just the amount I feel I’m extremely conscious about. So if it looks too much, then I’d either scrap the extras or eat round it
I used to be extremely picky with portions as a young Kylie and apparently I was a nightmare to feed and tried all the tricks in the book to either not eat or cheat my way. Piling up stuff thinking they’d believe that I had some because it had empty bits |

Short answer is yes but not all the time.
If I want to lose weight then definitely watch how much and what I eat. Sometimes I just think screw it and eat/drink whatever I fancy. |

Probably about 90% of the time do but some days just say fuck it like the other day had 4 sausage rolls for breakfast then dinner meat with chip butty and sausage for dinner I don’t stress about it just get back on track next meal/day does you good sometimes |

A few years ago I went through the whole calorie counting thing. Mainly to reduce the middle age spread kinda thing and try to eat healthier foods.
I ended up going from one extreme to the other and ate far too few calories and dropped more weight than I wanted.
I now eat normally but In moderation |
