Hi all,
Just got a ban for replying to a message and it seems because I used the word snap in the message I'm banned for saying another website?! Any idea how I can have this reviewed? |

It's the message you get when you use a banned word - the ban lifts after a few hours. No, I don't know what you used - there isn't a published list. You often have to guess. |

It is so annoying that certain words are banned. There should be a list made up so we are all aware what words to avoid. |

All banned words are beyond ridiculous and are not about making anything better. Control and conformity is never a good way to go and as history shows always end in a downfall, wether that be for the people or system doing the enforcing. |

I got a similar ban for use of a word but it only lasted about half an hour. |

I got a 24 hour ban in the week. We are all adults here, it’s pretty stupid having banned words on an adult site |

It would surprise me, if some of the words are being caught by a moderation system that isn't determining the language of the person posting.
I've had some odd words censored. Doesn't really bother me tbh |

You'll probably get a ban for talking about it now too. They don't like us discussing their actions.. they don't answer us querying them either. |

For clarity, he isn't talking about a forum/ chat/ site ban, he is talking about a block in mails. It isn't a ban
For future reference, your complaint about Admin should be sent to them from the contact link as doing it on the forum does result in a forum ban which I am sure you won't want |

That is a different type of block, posting links that are not allowed on the forum is against forum rules

For info, some words/ phrases/links are blocked from being sent in mail. A lot of the time it is designed to keep us all from being spammed to death by spammers.
The block will lift after a couple of hours |
