"Can the mighty Saints make it 3 in a row?
Who will you be cheering on at Old Trafford today?
I can’t see this one being a long thread
Love and Peace "
Anything with an egg shaped ball involved gets my vote ... complete neutral though ...enjoy |

Saints all day long, I love rugby
Well in truth I love all those muscular thighs and a bit of muck but I still think they will win again |

RL threads die a death on here unfortunately as I've started a few of my own in the past. Plenty of Pimms drinking Ra Ra fans though.
As a Salford fan personally I'd like Catalans to win (but can't see it) as think it would be good to have the status quo broken and we need a more competitive SL without the likes of Saints, Wigan, Leeds dominating.

"Two more than I was expecting
...and girlies at that
I know why you two like rugby "
Because it is faster and more exciting than any other popular sport. Rugby has virtually no stoppage of play for two sets of 40 straight minutes.
It looks chaotic to the uninitiated. As one gets to know the rules and technique they can learn to see and appreciate the game’s inherent strategy, control and skill
...those reasons right??!!

Was in Greenock's battery park last week walking the dog. There was a game on and I waited around for nigh on quarter of an hour for a play that lasted less than 10 seconds. Just can't fathom out the interest in it. Highlights look good but would need to take a good book to read if I ever attended a game. |

Nah, I like thick muscular thighs and dirty sweaty stocky men, Rugby has all of those plus it’s better than poncy football |

Greenock? Think you were watching Union up there fella which is a completely different game to League. The ball sends more time in the stands than on the pitch and half the game is spent in scrums/rucks/mauls.
League is far faster and just a better spectacle. |

Union is getting better at premiership level for speeding up ... ish! Lol
May have something to do with all the Kiwi and Aussie coaches we draft in |

"Had a great time yesterday was hoping Catalan would win.
I can't see pass Toulouse in today's game against featherstone"
Agreed there, just feel Toulouse will be too strong. Think it would be great for the game to have a SL derby between Catalans & Toulouse (and 2 lovely away trips a year for us fans ) but would also be made up for a couple of ex-Salford lads Kris Welham (Ginger Meninga ) and Craig Kopczak. |
