Have you tried Syndol? It's an over-the-counter painkiller that contains a muscle relaxant. It can help with spasm-y pain. (Obviously check first it is suitable for you and won't interact badly with any other meds you're on). |

Bloody love Syndol - only thing that will touch a headache for me (unless it's a migraine - then it's migraleve all the way.)
