How are people venturing out?

st helens

It's been 2 years since we met anyone. We're beginning planning out first outing. We're not sure whether to meet an old flame or to go for a social at a club or just keep to chatting on fab. We'd be interested to know how others have got back into the swing of things.

I'd go with an old flame first for comfort sake. Then go to a club.

Ease yourselves back into it. There's no rush.

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

Since being double jabbed, life feels quite close to normal, or the closest it has felt since it all began. I had a social with a friend who took a test before meeting me and a Tinder date which was a normal experience just like it was pre pandemic.

I met with old friends and new… it took a while to build the confidence to get back out there again tbh it had been a while for myself, but as soon as I did I wanted more

Central

I just am taking it slowly and pretending that the sweet shops are closed. The health of others I know is important, so I don't want to be risking getting them unwell.

I'm meeting one on one, but very infrequently. Mostly friends I had pre pandemic.

This. Puts far fewer people in danger.

In a town full of colours

I've had a couple of Newbie cuppa socials and spent the rest of my time with my regular playmates

.

Cautiously, like a horny slug. I'm only seeing one person currently, I might or might not have socials with a couple of people depending on how I'm feeling later. I don't want to dive back in to things but I can respect that for some people they may want/need that physical contact with others.
