Just read that Zuckerberg lost almost 7 billion dollars yesterday when certain apps went down. Thoughts?

Is that from shares going down in his companies?

I didn't read the story just the headline. Its sickening considering some people don't even have access to clean drinking water

Gutted for him (not!)

I rather enjoyed the time my phone wasn't being bombarded with inane WhatsApp messages but I'm sure plenty of people had breakdowns being without FB and WhatsApp for more than 1/2 hour.

It'd be an interesting way for him to spin it. Not the damaging things my company might have done. Nope. The outage.

Motherwell

he hasnt lost anything the value of the shares dropped, meaning he can use his vast wealth to buy more back at lower cost.

Can’t imagine why Facebook is such a big deal to so many?

I think a lot of people have a fascination with broadcasting their whole life to as many people as possible. If you're on FB, TikTok, Instagram etc I have no idea how you have any time to do anything else with your spare time. It's honestly never appealed to me tbh but each to their own.

I probably "waste" the same amount of time watching sport.

I'm such a dinosaur.

You could say that about any social media platforms? Addiction is real and they lose sense of reality and priorities. Been there too.
