Mines 18*, haven’t put the heating on yet, holding out as long as possible, aiming to get through to December.
Humidity level is 63% indoors, not ideal, but I will take that at this stage. Indoor humidity needs to be between 40- 60%, it will also save money within that range as you’re not heating up water vapour if it’s too high.
Outside is 12*C and humidity is 96%, but that’s relative humidity, the colder it gets the less water the air can hold.
If you do choose to open windows in the winter open them all for a few minutes, to replace air, instead of opening one window only slightly all day, this will do nothing but let warm air out. |

Had to put the stove on yesterday
The heating isn't going on yet though. Apparently cold exposure is good for your brown fat... and it's cheaper than fuel |

I recommend cooking with lids on your pans, this will save 30% energy but also stop steam going into your house, remember if you dry clothes indoors all that water will be in the air if you don’t remove it, so if you haven’t got a tumble dryer and can’t dry out doors I recommend a dehumidifier with a laundry mode. |

It's 20 inside.
I've got the heating set to come on each time it drops to 17 as my little one gets chilly easily but sweats in too many layers so I like to keep the house comfortable. |

This is the kind of fun I'm here for. My house is currently at 19. I know this because I have a new boiler that's linked to an app and tells me useful information. Thank you for giving me a chance to talk about my new boiler GC. |

Good thinking, anywhere between 18- 21* C is ideal, excellent work. |

We have mould to some extent but it's mainly rising damp in walls with no cavity and solid floors. Attempts to remedy have been met with tradespeople who either CBA to even quote or never reply if you try to accept the quote. |

In my happy place |
"I've got my thermal socks on and yesterday I put brushed cotton bedding on the 4 tog quilt so it's probably around 16-18°C.
Heating doesn't go on until the depths of winter for my shower."
Just buy a winter quilt. They arent expensive. |

"Dunno what the temp is, but I'm sat here in ma pants and a T-shirt with ma windows open
Love the Bahamas this time of year. "
Haha, chance would be a fine thing, but as an ex biker who's spent most of ma working life on building sites, I tend not to feel the cold |

"Still at 18*C without the heating on. "
Some of us lack cavities and have thin, thin walls
We have a new roof though. Whether we see any improvement in gas bills might now be moot, due to the rising prices. It's not a like-for-like comparison between this winter and last! |
