Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I hate being told the dress code is smart casual.

For the last 18 months it's been a proper bra, a smart shirt, tracky bottoms and slippers. Do you think I can get away with this for a in-person event?

Depends on the outfit seen a lot off velvet and satin joggers that would pass for that

As for slippers isn’t that just what uggs are lol

Tracky bottoms on with high heels are a thing now could be an option for you

If it says smart casual then I either wear a shirt and tie with cargo shorts, or chinos with a CHOOSE LIFE crop top, it very much depends on my mood.

My youngest loved telling anyone mummy does her work with make up on and pajama bottoms ...

I feel like we can get away with calling it pandemic chic

Shorts and a tie is a very business in the Bahamas vibe.

It sounds very chic.

I would put on eyeshadow and mascara if I was recording or doing a big presentation.

.

Get some nice silk pyjamas, dark colour and those slightly high heels with a small feathery thing on them that people used to wear with a chiffon robe. Sorted. Smart casual and very chic.

Derby

Hate the term with a passion. Let smart be smart and casual be casual. Don't bastardise them both by putting them together

A man after my own heart, thank you.

I'll be trying things on most of tomorrow trying to work out what looks like smart casual. If it was a different group I'd just ignore the instruction and wear smart or casual but the group photo is going to hang around for a long time.
