Liverpool

The only series I have ever really watched enough to know is Voyager. So Janeway gets the title.

Hard to fault JLP though.

Different captains, different crews, different situations.

Out n About

I can and do watch them all but keep going back to TNG, Enterprise and the film's. As for captain's well can't make my mind up. Kirk, Picard, Janeway or Sisko. It's a shame we never got to see more of Sulu or Riker in the captains chair.

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

Definitely Picard for the best captain, and the recent Picard series was really good. I love the original ones and always enjoyed next generation, but I think that the 3 seasons of Discovery so far have been amazing (ok, bits of season 2 dipped a bit).

Ds9 close runner up and probably a better show.

On a mooch

I can’t choose between two, Janeway & Picard, both very different scenarios and what they faced, each with a great back up crew.

I met William Shatner once, he's tiny... but it has to be the original series with him in the chair.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Picard in TNG. I haven't seen the Picard series.

Then I can't decide between Janeway and Sisko for second place.

Captain James T Kirk.

I have always liked William Shatner as an actor. I don’t know why as he’s a bit hammy, but he seems to do it with such tongue in cheekness that I can’t help but enjoy watching him, even if he is supposed to be a bit of a diva in real life.

1. TOS

2. DS9

3. TNG

4. The rest

99. The awful, awful Jar Jar Abrams shitfest that should have disqualified him from working in movies ever again, before he pissed all over Star Wars too.

So much glare in the new stuff...

And I wasn't a fan of Picard. First 2 episodes were action packed, then it was 'the slow motion series'.

Severn rocked.

In a town full of colours

I like them all apart from Voyager

Jane Way's voice irritates me so I don't watch it

Fav cap is Sisko, I love his emotional intelligence journey throughout the series

Not really a Trekkie per se, but my favourite captain is JLP, favourite series is tied between TNG and Enterprise. I love Quark in DS9 though, too. The idea of oo-mox is brilliant!

To baldly go

To no go anywhere

To try to get back to where I should be

To go before anyone else went there

Or to go using magic mushrooms?

Lancs

I enjoy them all, although Discovery is a challenge sometimes.

That said, Next Gen is the best for me, and Picard the best captain. When I’m feeling low I can put an episode of Next Gen on and it is like a warm comfort blanket. It’s so good and the later seasons could be shown today and not appear dated at all.

I liked elements of them all. Fave was TNG I think. I was the right age to crush on Troi (Marina Sirtis).

Met Scott Baluka (Enterprise) once so he's my fav captin by default haha.
