Ok so I’m gonna be buying a few new 3 piece suits as we head into autumn/winter and would like to hear from the ladies about what styles/colours/cuts etc you like! Women often say a man in a sharp suit is like a woman in lingerie so let’s hear it, what do you like! |

Personally, I like to see men in a nice navy or dark grey suit, tailored to fit but not too tight (none of this spray-on trouser malarkey ), with a nice shirt, cufflinks, and matching tie and pocket square.
And polished shoes! I've seen so many men at work over the years with lovely suits... and dirty or scuffed shoes |

Charcoal grey, wool, single breasted with a trouser shape that suits your body.
Our son has a navy suit with a slight check in the fabric, the trousers are "skinny" . He looks great in it.
Always, always hang the jacket on a coat hanger (keep one at work or in the car) and always hang the trousers up at night but not on a wire hanger
Fussy aren't I |

Surely you are better off choosing a cut and colour that suits you OP rather than asking women what they prefer
Would you wear something you look ridiculous in just because women said they like purple and yellow polka dot flannel suits???
Oooooo suits you Sir |

Personally - a classic double breasted pinstripe suit (black or navy), a classic single breasted black suit, a single breasted dark grey suit and a classic t suit. No skinny trousers - just classic fit ones. Classic/Tailored shirts, cufflinks and a nice tie and pocket square to match. |

Thanks for all the style suggestions so far to those who have given them! Seems like the charcoal grey and navy tailored cuts are still the most popular with the ladies. I’m glad no one has said tartan because I hate that Conor McGregor look lol |

I look at male newsreaders and Graham Norton for excellent tailoring |
