"And you know you haven't quite got enough space in your tummy for 3 courses.
Do you go for the starter or save yourself for pudding?
X"
I will go starter and main and pray that I can squeeze a little dessert in |

It depends what the starter and pudding menu is like really. If there is something very chocolatey on the dessert menu I might miss the starter. |

"Depends on the menu
Everything. Everything is on the menu. Now pick starter or pudding damnit
I’m the most indecisive person at a restaurant but at a push it would be dessert "
Well done for making a decision |

Whenever I go with my mates, we always get a starter and main and when they then say "shall we make a move?" I pull a face because I'd rather skip the starter and go for dessert instead |

"Picturing Peter Kay talking about being full until the waiter says ‘dessert?’
I’d want all 3 "
Haha sometimes I force the pudding down and immediately regret it on the way home. You know when you're so full you could pop? I hate that feeling! |

Yes I always regret it! Feeling super bloated.
I always do it again though |

Depends what's on the menu but I'll mostly have a starter and a main rather than a main and a dessert or just a main and that's it. I don't mind leaving a little bit of main meal but can't handle leaving almost a full dessert coz one bite in I've reached "one more mouthful and the lot is coming back up" stage |

"2 or 3 starters (depending on size sometimes 4!), forget the main and pudding. "
Interesting... Starters are awesome, but how will you get your chips if you only have starters? |

I check the menu and see what's on the dessert list.
If there's no sticky toffee pudding with unlimited custard, or something special, then I'll have a starter.
Or skip both and manage most of my main course.
I've only eaten 3 courses once in my life and I thought I was going to explode.

Cleavage at the fiancé, works a treat when I'm pinching them. |

Totally agree with this. That's why we love Tapas. "
Tapas is my idea of heaven. But decent tapas, not the overpriced, fried plates of beige that make a restaurant a good profit. We should have tapas one day! |

I dunno, I’m usually still thinking about when the waitress says ‘enjoy your meal!’ and I replied ‘You too!’ |

"Never have a starter! Always seems to slow down the main course, and the dessert is usually something I'd never make at home so more of a treat."
Or steal some of the pudding from the person sat opposite you! |

Totally depends on what the menu is like. If there are no puddings I like the look of, then its starter all the way. Conversely if the desserts look great, screw the starter.
And if thats not a runner, if the waitress looks great and flirty, try and screw her instead |

"Dessert and a coffee...
I struggle to find starters that inspire me.
Actually.... I do get a starter and ignore deserts at Indians.
Hmm maybe it's a case by case situation.
"
Have you tried rasmalai? Mango version is particularly nice. |

Hmm you could say so. Quite spongy and wet. And creamy.
That didn't sound as I planned |

But that's the way to go. Not then groaning that you have no room left for dessert;-) plan and execute it |
