"Would anyone agree. To stop the complete idiots and fake accounts. Would you pay a yearly fee rather than a £5 top up
Thoughts please "
If I found more connections to play, I would pay a yearly fee.
Unfortunately it's not the case for me these days |

No, it’s a barrier to entry for new people. Why would someone pay £xx join a website they’ve never seen or experienced?
You can just apply the same logic as your idea and choose to ignore people that don’t pay sure supporters, or put your “no newbies” filter on. |

You will still find plenty of fakes and idiots even with a yearly fee.
It's not difficult to suss those kind of people out and it's quite simple to block them if they aren't for you. |

Not all idiots are fake.
Not all fakes are idiots.
Why should everyone have to pay extra because people don't want to use the tools already provided by the site and don't learn from their mistakes?
Everyone can get caught out by a fake profile but if it is happening consistently then maybe start looking at who you are talking to and how you decide to engage on here. Examine your own vetting procedure rather than expect the site to manage it for you. |

As others have already mentioned, time wasters and fakes are no less able to pay on average than those who are genuine. Other sites have had much higher fees with just as many (if not more!) fakes and time wasters.
You run the risk of pricing genuine people out when what is actually needed is a better review and authentication of profiles. |

No. Idiots and fakes have money as well. It won't stop it. Didn't stop it on swinging heaven I'm told. |

No I like they way the site is as it is.
As for fakes and time wasters just learn to spot them most are pretty easy to spot anyhow.
And it's not going to stop them using the site anyhow even if they have to pay.
I don't really get why people want to try and change the site to suit them.Instead of changing how they use the site in order to make it work better for themselves. |

No I don’t think that’s they way forward at all. I do however think that face photo verification should be done before allowing to join. I’m pretty sure that would out some of the fakes |

And would guarantee that lots of existing users would leave |

Why would genuine users leave? |

Sadly everything, even this site, if for profit
And I imagine a bulk of their profit comes from new single males buying a month sub to send out more messages
They aren’t gonna disturb that profit for the sake of a better experience |

Financial commitments would just reduce the number of "newbies" who are just dipping a toe in to see if it is of interest.
Those who want to wind others up for sport are often equally able to afford a membership fee.
There are other swingers sites thatdo charge for membership, but they are much less successful than here.

There are a lot of people who are concerned (even paranoid) about their identity being known, and are uncomfortable with uploading photographs. It is also not too difficult to fake a photo for photo verification.
Often for people new to the scene, the whole thing can be a daunting as it is exciting, and I think that these are the people who would be most affected by too many "rules".
