Someone at work said that it's a media hustle to feel sorry for ambulance drivers even though they have their own dedicated fill up stations |

Some people will never learn, especially those who can't think of anyone outside their circle. |

Same here. Some of our staff are running on fumes and local garages won’t get a delivery till Thursday now |

I feel for you I have recently left the Care industry network as a online delivery driver for a retail food store .We have problems filling our trucks to get around to do our deliveries it’s peoples ignorance and stupidity being totally irresponsible and selfish that creates the problems |

Mark has just took a young lady nurse who lives 3 doors down from us to work tonight. She drives but sadly hasn't been able to get any petrol, he's picking her up in the morning but our local station aren't getting a delivery till Wednesday. We have asked the garage if we take her car up on Tuesday night, could they fill it with fuel for her, but they told us 1st come 1st served . So she's now going to have to come off a 12 hour shift and sit waiting for the delivery which could be anytime. |

Never heard of ambulance drivers, some places have their own sites. And I don't think the "ambulance drivers" want people to feel sorry for them |

I went to book a hire car for our holiday, 2 weeks ago was £239 but Sunday it was £450!!
Although not essential, it makes it easier for one of our party who isn’t as able bodied as the rest of us!
Totally shocked at the ripple effect this is having

It’s disgusting! I work in supported living so I don’t have to drive for the most part of my job but I have family members who work in Care and for the NHS who are suffering.
It literally makes me angry seeing videos of idiotic people filling up plastic bags with petrol. If there wasn’t a shortage before there will be now.
Went to Morrisons today to do my monthly shop and the queue of cars for the petrol station was around the whole area of Morrisons! |

"After the great success of the bog roll shortage scenario , media created now the fuel shortage story. Cool."
The media has created the fuel shortage ... by fueling peoples fears, resulting in panic buying. |
