Are SKY desperate for new customers?
I'm getting daily* postcards / letters / tear open envelopes offering 'great deals' to sign up and bloody pop-up advertising when I'm using the internet.
Tiny, tiny print and about 50% of the 'offers' are out of date so, maybe, they're desperate and any advertising might lure in a punter.
Looking at the pricing:
SKY plus cinema £21 pcm 18 month contract
HD although I'd have that this would be standard by now £7 pcm
Sports package (I enjoy F1 but not football) £28 pcm
So £56 pcm for 18 months with a warning that charges may go up.
That's £672 per year and I'd have to buy a television licence for £159 each year as well, so in total £831 per annum.
That's a serious amount of money.
So, sorry SKY, I've got better things to do with my cash.
*Obviously, not a weekends. |
