What's the really ugly thing you find so useful/comfy/has inner beauty?
Mine is the reclining/tipping chairs marketed to older people. When a relative died I nearly took theirs as it was the most comfortable chair I'd ever sat in. But it was so ugly and big I couldn't bring myself to give it houseroom.

I like slippers too. I also like people who like slippers, there's none of that complaining about stepping on Lego bricks or other things. |
