I definitely agree. The guys I’ve fucked recently started off agreeing that it would just be a fuck but gradually tried to turn it into a relationship. I think the tables have definitely turned. |

I think it’s a lot to do with Covid. Suddenly men were unable to socialise as they normally would, they got lonely/bored and wanted someone to be there for them….  women on the other hand have got fed up and now want to have fun. And why not?? |

Like statistics, surveys like this can be stacked whichever way the want to back up their point of view.
It is not new that more women are looking for nsa relationship. But doesn't mean less men are. Simply where your baseline is

I’d say that’s mostly true, not entirely
Swiping apps has caused that. Tinder makes it too easy to fully embrace hook up culture
Until they hit 35, realise they might wanna settle down amd that well has truely dried up |

It's hard to make generalisations without data. I chucked dating apps for speed dating. From my experience, there are similar number of people looking for serious/casual relationships on either side. |

In the 70s when I was dating way more men wanted a serious relationship than women. It's probably always been true for various reasons but mainly because a lot of men wanted someone to look after the basics ie housekeeping and sex while they built a career. |
