So now that things are getting a bit more normal and live music is back on the menu, how many of you have some Rock and Metal gigs coming up?
Personally I’ve got Black Stone Cherry on Monday night and a fair few others booked over the next 6-9 months |

Apparently the reviews have been really good. I guess when you know it’s your last tour you can be at peace and just enjoy making music for the sake of it? |

"I was supposed to be going to the HRH Punk festival in Sheffield at the start of Oct, but have had to cancel
Probably the Wildhearts in December now. "
HRH have a punk one now?? I stopped going to HRH stuff just before they moved the regular one to Great Yarmouth. That drive to North Wales was such a ball ache in November. |

Yeah, this is the 3rd year I believe.
Been to a few, including Stoner vs Death metal (weird fucking combo!)
Never been to the main ones though. |

"Been to many over the years, but am getting to the stage now where I prefer to see a local band in a local pub, where you don't pay extortional prices for luke warm beer in a plastic "glass" "
I agree.. Was going to see Genesis in these last few days. Loads of spaces in good spots around the venue but I won't pay £181 for a seat.. Had they drop that ridiculous price, I may have thought about it... |

Guns 2 Roses are a decent tribute band playing the New Cross Inn on Friday the 1st.
Seen them before and were lots of fun.
Great venue for live music by the way. |

Ah well you learn something new every day. I’ve heard of the Stoner bs Death Metal one…I don’t mind a bit of melancholic Stoner rock but the Death Metal definitely to much for me |

To be fair, there was only one band I'd class as proper death metal.
It was a good couple of nights. |

Never had a bad night at HRH but I think that’s because me & my mates see the music as a bonus. The bit we enjoy most is catching up with each other as we all live in different parts of the country. |

I'll second this. Seen G2R several times & they are excellent. Always a good show. |

Saw the Wildhearts in London. It was great as they always are. The weird thing was the absence of crowd surfing and mosh pits. Everyone was singing along but respected space.
Nothing until Suede in November and Manics in December |
