i used to work with a guy who did that, said it stopped him getting blisters because the seems of the socks were on the out side, not sure it works but i have worn mine that way a few times since |

I've done it since I was little, my dad was in hospital once and the bloke next to him had gangrenous toes and my dad told me it was because the seams of his socks rubbed his toes.
In hindsight it was probably bollocks! |
