Machines I've used don't give you the option to take the cash first. It spits the card out and bleeps until you remove it before dispensing cash. I've had my card swallowed by an A for not taking it out quick enough |

A lot of machines won’t release the cash until you’ve taken the card.
There was a slow machine where I used to lived and a couple of times I’ve taken the card and walked off without the cash because my heads been up my arse with work stress |
