Soup is so good for you , even the ladies tomato one from a tin is one of your 5 a day ha . Always take it from the side of the bowl , its cooler there

No it's not out of fashion, it's cuffing and soup season now so more people will mention it! I made a beautiful roasted butternut squash and chilli soup the other day.

Right... We need to gave a word about the parsnip.. When ever I've tried to add a parsnip or two to a soup it goes from interesting to minging. . Leave it out, parsnips are for roasting only!

I will not ! One of my favourite veg but maybe best alone in a soup except for herb or spice? But with Stilton is ace, unlikely as it sounds.

I love soups. My favourite is apart from my family chicken and veg broth.. caldo Verde soup.. . I am not a huge fan of creamy soups, I do like things floating in mine

Leek +roasted garlic

Creamy tuscan mushroom

Celariac +roast garlic

Spucy sweet potato
