"We are so different. Down here we say “I’m going to have a bath (pronounced barth) then I’m going out for the night.
Up north they say “oh fuck it, let’s just go out”! "
We have baths up north too. It's just a case of waiting for Dad, Mum and any elder brothers and/or sisters to sit in t'tin tub in front of t'fire and hoping t'waters still warm.
I like to wear my flat cap and look after t'whippets whilst waiting my turn. |
