I see threads or get messages about not being able to find a type of (race/ethnicity/nationality) person in a certain area. When i check the OP’s location I think fair enough. When this is said by someone from in or around London it baffles me a lot. I always thought London was one of the most culturally diverse cities in the country. Im sure if i checked some ONS stats i’d find out but I'd rather ask you fabbers….
Enlighten me please, i fancy learning something new today |

London is possibly one of the most diverse cities in the world. But finding men/women from certain communities can be difficult on fab for multiple reasons. One main reason could be that the particular community maybe culturally more monogamous and hence joining fab is something only a very few people do. |

Just to add in or around London is a huge area, for those that don’t want to travel far, for some even an hour wouldn’t get you to the other side by car or public transport. For this reason, local to me doesn’t mean London more the compass direction I am based in. |

The culturally diverse vs not being into swinging makes sense but fab isnt the only site ppl use to make connection. Its certainly makes sense though… |

As has been pointed out London is huge.
It can take well over 2 hours to get from one side of London to the other. So just because someone is in London does not mean they are local. |

"There's no Londoners living in London that's how diverse it is."
What makes somebody a Londoner is somebody that lives or chooses to describe themselves as such, so yes there are definitely Londoners in London. |

The "English " are a cocktail of a people and london is and always has been a big melting pot of people from around the world..if you read the history of Britain by Simon Sharma...
We were arguing with the French 1000 years ago because they thought london was a deregulated free wheeling place that attracted lots
Of immigrants .. and was generally a destabilising influence its uncanny how little has changed .. |
