Is for any of foreplay is a important than the main event? Even more so would forfeit main event for foreplay as you don,t derive as much pleasure from it ?

Yes I certainly think it's important, at times it can be more important!!!

It help can help set the mood and can help heighten feelings further down the line for both involved!!

If the main event is a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings then no, foreplay isn't anywhere near as important.
