i'm not claiming two weeks is a long time to be on the site and i was not expecting people to be throwing themselves at me but in the short time i've been a member i've discovered unfortunately there seem to be a lot more fake or timewasting people than there are genuine on here. It's a real shame because the site has potential to be a great one. I'm not claiming i have a solution to this problem and i'd like to think a lot of people have found the site much more successful than i have. I've asked for advice on how to make my profile more appealing to others but was met with more criticism than helpful comments. I'm sure it's just a minority but seems people especially single males seem to think belittling people is a good way to work their way up the social network on here. So congratulations to all the fakes, timewasters and bullies, you have as good as convinced yet another genuine swinger that the site is a waste of time! |

Right i looked and your profile is like 10000s here.. So did not stand out .. You would be better having some sort of face pic on if not all your face there ways you can .. Look at others profiles get some tips from the ones that do well here .. you will know from feedback they get .. And 2 weeks is nothing give it a year and get to know people on forums and chat rooms and then say ... as its not just about shagging its about getting to know people. And welcome to FAB and with all things in life you have to take good with bad as would be boring if all the same. |

i agree, i dont get a lot of free time to meet so i tend to choose the folk i get to know pretty well through chatrooms and socials...it works for me as i dont get any problems with timewasters (so far)so stick with it, i hope it works out for you  |

From a lady who isnt a timewaster or a fake ,some simple advice ...change your pictures or at least put on some less obvious ones. A pic of you in nice tight white calvins would attract me a lot more .......or a nice white unbuttoned shirt and nothing else ........and good advice about the forums and chat it works for me . |

To be honest negativity is a huge turn off so get rid of your status update.
Your a bisexual man, so you should concentrate on looking for people who want to meet a bisexual man, instead of just winking and messaging every profile you like the look of.
As previously mentioned change your pics, 100,s of single guys on here so you need to concentrate on standing out instead of moaning. |

This site is all YOU make it !
If YOU use it incorrectly or YOU cannot recognise the tell tale signs of a fantasist or a timewaster, then it is YOU who needs to look deeper at how YOU use the site rather than relying on others to use it correctly.
You cannot have any influence on how other people use the site, but what you can influence is how you allow them to interact with you.
This site is fun but so many people come here and before long are regarding it as a challenge.
It really, really isn't worth getting uptight about.
I have deliberately not looked at your profile before addressing your comments so cannot comment on how you seem to be attracting the wrong sort in terms of how you sell yourself.
But to be honest, profile aside, it is more how you react to contact from others and how you phrase your contact with other users that will have the ultimate effect on who you meet and how many you meet.
The pertinent point is this tho - people are only timewasters if YOU allow them to be ! |

look at profiles wanting the same as you and compare their profile to yours, whats different, then get ideas how to improove yours
if your getting timewasters frequently then obviousily your selection process before you agree to meet must not be good enough as its not getting you the results you want and may need strengthening |

So what is your REAL gripe??? That too many single guys are contacting you? Have to say if I were gay or bi, I would be on your profile like a shot, as it comes over strongly that that is what you are looking for..
Is it that you can't get your head around that, on a site that is FREE, you get a lot of weirdos homing in on your profile (for the same reasons I stated above) and wasting your time???
Or is it that your expectations we skewed by your own confusion over what swinging is?? Unlike what you see in porn, it is not readily available sex. This is a great site, but were a couple so can't advise what its like for a single guy apart from saying the ones we have met off here have all proved to be genuine and friendly. I would suggest that been a (single)guy and been unable to accommodate will put you at a disadvantage straight away with those like us who can't accom at ours. But don't give up so easily Keep at it and give it a good try. |

I recommended this site to a bi male friend of mine early last year. He managed a month then left. He told me it was because he couldn't stand reading the 'looked at me' page and seeing all the people who looked at him but never messaged. i actually got laid pretty soon after joining. spent a few excellent evenings with a really cool couple, who unfortunately aren't on here anymore.
Since then, encounters have been very rare, but I still enjoy coming on for a chat in the forums and a bit of a perv from time to time. |

In my _iew, Fab is better than a certain similar rival site that I was a member of but left due to it being boring.
My own experience & opinion of Fab is...
1). Geographic Location is vital, some parts of the UK are great for the lifestyle with an example being Hull.
Lot's of people are 'up for it' & from what I've been told the Weekend House Party thing is in full swing
Yet, in Liverpool & Merseyside it's always been really dry with hardly anything going on.
I should know I've arranged a number of Socials with the last one happening in July 2011 under my former name - Naughty Pharaoh.
People attend but no lasting links are made.

2). To much talking occurs on this site especially in the Chatrooms.
Am sorry, Ladies but at times it's more 'Loose Women' on Daytime ITV than a Swinging site.
It's fine talking but when it's going into the selection process of deciding which colour paint should be selected for the Living Room. Certainly, NOT erotic.
What's needed is Female members being more sexual in the Chatroom & with faces as looking at just breasts was great as a youngster but not any longer.
