Bake Off - Live!

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

It's back! Another series of watching people bake, wishing Prue was your Nan, wondering who Paul will try and fuck and everyone on here arguing about Matt Lucas.

But who is going to win? Your contestants this year are: Crystelle, Lizzie, Freya, George, Chigs, Giuseppe, Amanda, Tom, Jairzeno, Rochica, Jürgen and Maggie.

Now I'm sure Chigs will be looking to bounce back after being cruelly dumped so early from Love Island while Jairzeno will be looking to add Star Baker to his 1970 World Cup success.

Rochica will bring some heavy metal to proceedings but Jürgen can't possibly win because he's German and works in IT.

But who is your favourite? Will Hollywood dish out a handshake in the first episode? Can we get through this thread without a Matt Lucas argument?

It's Bake Off - and it's live!*

*well it's not live - it's been taped months in advance.

I wonder if the travel restrictions affected their selection this year? It was filmed in May and June when there restrictions were in place in different nations. That and living in the Bake Off bubble might have been a factor for applications too.

If he doesn’t get star baker this week I am pretty sure Angela Merkel will be on the phone.

I'm glad he got Star Baker, he deserved it (looks aside).

I am suitable ashamed for my objectification of Chigs. I usually focus on the cakes. Him and his cake tipped me over the edge.

Did a Panna Cotta win Bake Off? He's been consistent, so a worth winner.

Chrystelle got better as her confidence grew.

Chigs had the biggest journey arc and became our family favourite.

I really liked Lizzie and Freya becoming friends and going on a road trip.

I always want cake after Bake Off.
