Wouldn't worry about it. A big chunk of the stuff on the radio these days (I won't demean the word 'music' to refer to it as such) is just dire.
That hippity hop stuff where every other word seems to be 'f**k this', 'f**k you', 'motherf**ker', etc is just utter tripe.
And actually, there are a surprising amount of young people who know or love older genres too. I credit that to smart soundtracks from movies like Guardians of the Galaxy. |
