what's the point in pic collecting???

Am I wrong in assuming we're all on here one way or another for adult mutually consenting fun?
I say this because of the care and detail in which I filled out my profile when I re-registered on here.
Well, a few times I've been asked for pics (from either the curious of Bi males (even though profile says clearly "straight"), or just wanting pics for collection), and then nothing else.
If people are going to contact each other, then I would have before this safely assumed that they wanted to get to know the person(s) behind the profile, not just asking for pics, and then blocking them and not hearing from them again...
Really what is the point, what does it provide in the long term???  |

Hate to say this, but it's just one more thread in the tapestry of the lifestyle which you have to put up with these days.
The divide between this site and others which are out and out porn sites, and more particularly porn sharing sites (ie. xhamster etc) means that the kind of 'people' (I use that term advisedly...) who 'enjoy' what goes on on xham, have given themselves the idea that Fabs is no different. They don't 'get it' that this started as a serious Swingers site for people looking to meet. With the addition of webcams, everyone filling their profiles with as many pics as they can put in them etc, to a 'collector' this looks no different to a 'sharing site', and they just use it like one.... Not good for those of us who consider ourselves 'proper' swingers, but unless Admin are going to impose a membership fee which is sufficient to put the 'collectors' (or wankers, as I like to refer to them...) off, it will continue in the way you describe. Personally, we would like to see a membership fee as it would make it better for US, but.... a lot of people on here who are looking for an outlet for their sexual desires, would not be able to afford to stay and what could be excellent meets would fade away just due to the cost...
Have to just accept it, learn to manage it/them, and concentrate on the good aspects of being here - not the bad ones....

There is a solution to this, don't send your pics.
I can understand people wanting to see what you look like before carrying on chatting with a _iew to a meet, but wanting to see action shots too does sound like someone just wanting to see your pics.
I wouldn't send any and see how that goes instead. |

lots of people love the idea of meeting for sex on here, till they get a meet and arrange the time and a day then for some reason they get all nervous and cant manage it
so they resort to wanking over photos or of someone on cam as realistically they know they haven't got the courage to follow through on a meet
