The days of adverts in contact magazines

Who remembers doing that the excited wait for reply normally a letter with Polaroid and then choosing the the right Poeple

Its how i got into swinging thanks to a lovely couple invitibg me to a party

Guess only some will remember that

You would add your phone number so they could call you if interested

So it could be a few weeks before you heard back from them it did help to highten sexual tenson xxxx

I've mentioned this before. I used to work for a publication that had a section for adult ads on the back pages. We had the po boxes in one office where people would come to pick up their replies to their ads. One guy with fairly niche requests and one couple were regulars and even though it's over 30 years later I still see the guy occasionally from a distance.

I remember an advert in Private Eye I think it was where a man wanted to find a woman. I remember it saying "Married but able to spend time with you". Who could not be moved by such a romantic sentiment?
