It's one of the work-iest times of the year unfortunately, and our numbers starting tomorrow have done a total rebound back to pre-pandemic numbers. I had a LOT of emails to reply to. This time last year, I'd worked a 12hr day, so did a much better job this year

When I'm stuck upstairs on my own, work is a reasonable distraction anyway....

"Good eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevening Jim and nocturnal types. Today, I mainly stayed on bed and did some work. Then took our daughter swimming (ouch). Then for a coffee and a bun. Home for a meeting with a work colleague ( ) then Skyped with the Mother-ship (shudder). Then more work and here I am now.....

Good eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevening, KC and the Sunshine Band. Did you mean in, even though on also works. Good coffee and a bun everyone. You work too much.

It's one of the work-iest times of the year unfortunately, and our numbers starting tomorrow have done a total rebound back to pre-pandemic numbers. I had a LOT of emails to reply to. This time last year, I'd worked a 12hr day, so did a much better job this year

When I'm stuck upstairs on my own, work is a reasonable distraction anyway...."

Hey, you're getting the hang of your job.

Hey KC.

Still in pain, lovely? Xx

Ohhhhhhh yes. Getting in the swimming pool was excruciating

Oh sweetie

That's just so shit. Wish there was something I could do. And work being busy doesn't really help as you can't relax xx

It's hard because I had to go into Manchester 4/5 days last week and I'm relying on colleagues to lift my chair in/out of the car, which I hate and means I have to plan my travel around the availability of others. Trying to keep it back to 3 days this week, all of which I'm teaching on..... "

Listen, you need to take care of yourself. If it's causing you more pain and hassle to get to Manchester, tell them to big off and take a couple of sick days. I don't care how busy you are, you need to get well.
