Slightly off topic, but where actually is “London Town”? It’s not on any maps and as a northerner who doesn’t venture to the capital often, I always wonder where it is??? |

There’s a “Camden Town” & “Canning Town”, but “London Town” is local speak, usually in admiration “Love old London Town” |

Not entirely, Londininium was what is now the City of London, the old Roman Walls mark the boundary for that. |

Not entirely, Londininium was what is now the City of London, the old Roman Walls mark the boundary for that. "
If we're going to get into the 'Town' stuff then I'll refer to going up to town if I'm heading into central London or going Up West.

If we're going to get into the 'Town' stuff then I'll refer to going up to town if I'm heading into central London or going Up West.
