Carrots- I’m constantly surprised how cheap they are, you can buy a bag of carrots for 40p, these thing give you night vision.
Milk - it’s nearly as cheap as water, how does that work, it strengths your bones ffs ?!

"Penny chews. You can't get anything for a penny these days.
Except penny chews.
Curly wurlys were 20p for a step ladder of chocolate."
Smaller ladders these days though. Must be something to do with health and safety. |

I'm not so sure. I tried it, taped one onto each eye and I could see f**k all, whether at night or not. |

Chicken. How can it be right that this animal is born, reared, slaughtered and processed yet still costs so little? I do understand the mechanics of factory farming but it still blows my mind.
Likewise bananas. How can we have these exotic fruits shipped half way round the world yet they're so cheap and so plentiful? |

Ah come on - I had carrots taped to my eyes. If I had taken the end caps off I'd have just looked ridiculous... |

Nah, it's cos they contain Vitamin A, which is essential for the rods and cones in your eyes. But, you'd have to eat enough carrots to sink a battleship for them to have ANY impact on eyesight. |

Clothing and books charity shops. I love that something that was relatively expensive (and out of my budget) new can be made affordable because it's preloved. |

I get quite excited by any sort of grocery item that is less than a pound. Which fortunatly for my excitement levels is quite a lot of stuff. Even a tin of fancy plump chickpeas is only 85 pence, compared to bullet bargain 35 pence ones. I treat myself to fancy ones. |

"I saw Cheap Trick in Barbarellas Birmingham in 1979
I want you to want me"
Yup, that’s the one, I had a plectrum from Rick Neilson the lead guitarist, they were magnificent that night. I loved Barbarellas! |
