They say that school and uni can be the best years of your life, though we know that's not true for everyone.
Are you in touch with anyone you were in school or uni with? If not would you recognise them if you came across them in the street?
Having recently come across an old school album I could not put names to many faces though think some would remember my face and name. |

In touch with mostly Uni people. But school/college I was a different person so drifted apart. One of the best people from that time is sadly no longer with us.
I don't miss most of them. I've got a good core of friends now. |

Still in touch with a few from school but it’s mainly relegated to Facebook. I think the only person I still really speak to from school is a guy who I’ve had sex with on and off over the years since right after we left school. We have a strange ‘friendship’. It’s weird. |

School life was family life for us, so yes there is a close bond there that can’t be broken.
None of us live close to each other but a core group of ten try once a year to get together for the day or more. Others we stay in touch with via messages
January coming will be our first time together in 2.5 years as we come together, hopefully, for the baby of the group’s 50th. |

I'm still in touch with a few friends from school, college and uni.
There was a group of six us at school who were inseparable for six years or so, life happened but we'd still talk weekly and see each other a couple of times a year. We went through first periods, the heartbreak of first loves, the joy of uni and the stresses of exams. So much. Sadly two from that friendship group died and since then it's not quite been the same. There's a chasm of grief and emptiness that four can't fill.
But I do still keep in touch with people. They were part of my past, still part of my present and hopefully there's a happier future. |

School, no I don't keep in contact with any one from school as I didn't like anyone. I doubt I'd recognise them or even give them the time of day if I did.
College, I don't keep in contact with anyone, but sometimes randomly meet some at gigs and have a laugh.
Uni, like school I didn't really like anyone and doubt I'd recognise them.
The mates I have all started off mates, of people I knew and we just clicked. Most of them are nothing like me, except for their music taste. |
