Who did the park run this weekend? Early start but it sets you up for the day

Had a half marathon race this Saturday unfortunately.

Looking at smashing it next week though.

got my barcode all printed off doing my first one this weekend doing lots of 5 6 7 or 8 kms anyway on my own and done some runthrou 10kms but first parkrun gonna be billy no mates but thats ok

ParkRun is such a good idea. Some people take it so seriously though. Don't try for a PB every week, it's a sure way to kill the enjoyment.

Don’t have park run where I live, but been running on my own gradually building up and currently running 7-8km 3 or 4x a week

First timers get a welcome and a special briefing, to explain the details.

And I didn't know anybody at my first run, but have loads of running pals now. Go for a coffee afterwards and mingle. I've been to over 70 different venues and all pretty friendly.

I appreciate Wiltshire is a big place, but there's 16 parkruns there
