So I’ve tried various diets and routines to loose some weight however I seem to loose 6/7lbs then back up 6/7lbs just hovering around the same weight no matter what. Is there anything you guys have tried and tested thats given you results? Obviously I’d love to reach my goal ASAP but that’s not working so maybe a slow and steady strategy |

Try 8k steps a day for 2/3 weeks.. if after that your still the same weight, up the steps to 12k daily and you should see some results, providing
your eating relatively healthy! consistency is key!
Best of luck |

Simple way: Eat less, exercise more
Slightly more complex:
1. Get FitnessPal app
2. Track ALL food and drinks with FitnessPal app (Tip: after a while program in all your own food as the built in ones miss most of the proper nutrition values)
3. Once you know your daily average cals intake and types of food, set a daily calorie limit - shoudl be around 1800 if you want to consistently lose weight
4. Cut down on sugar and processed carbs
5. Get fitness tracker like garmin and associated app - integrates with MyFitnessPal
6. Walk, walk and Walk some more (e.g. every day - on top of step counting - for at least 60 mins)
7. Don't diet - calorie count, but ensure your calories are balanced, not sugar or carb heavy.
8. Try new lower calorie recipes. You will surprise yourself. The Joe Wicks books are quite good and some of the flavours will surprise you.
Good luck

Have you thought about fasting one full day (or two depending on willpower) a week? Eat your normal amount the rest of the week (no overeating the days after) and you will notice the difference soon enough.
Try to keep busy on fasting days and they'll be more manageable.
Just an idea. |

Weight Watchers worked for me. Exercise is overrated for weight loss, a lot of effort for minimal results. Eating less of the wrong stuff and more of the right stuff is much easier. It's not about how much you eat but what you eat..... |

Calorie counting and getting 10k+ steps in per day has worked for me. I have lost 3 stone in about 7 months. I would plateau for a few weeks where I wouldn’t lose anything or even have a gain, but I pushed on and would then have some pretty big loses (I’d weigh myself weekly).
A few basic tips to follow -
- don’t drink your calories
- have a big portion of fruit with breakfast and then a big portion of veg with both lunch and dinner
- make sure you’re getting enough protein
- walk whenever possible
After I lost the first 2 stone I also started weight lifting which helps massive.
I still have a long way to go, but it’s coming off slowly xx |

This. You need to create a calorific defecit. Approx 3500 per week will give a 1lb sustainable loss. Add 10k steps a day and yoi will steadily lose 2lb a week at a level you can keep without a fad diet. |
