"Why is it so unbelievable that he has won the money? "
Well think about it,as a single guy on here he may be struggling for attention,so what do you do? Maybe the mention of money may spark some interest for him, just a thought,if he has then good luck to him |

Still not getting it to be fair. Just seeing a lot of jealousy |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
The cynics will not believe unless they see the winning card and the cheque.
The greedy and stupid will send messages.
The generous will just say good for you, enjoy it.
Why people post anything is a little difficult to fathom. I don't know why I post half the crap I do. Maybe I would let everyone on here know first. Then remove my profile. |

Surely for anyone to cynically suggest another person might fake good fortune in order to court popularity gives a sad indictment into the mindset of the person who suggest that in the first place,,,
Because surely by associated thought, it would also appear they believe there are mercenary individuals on this site who would willingly take advantage of a strangers good fortune….!.
There’s an old proverb, which goes along the lines of “All thieves think all people steal”
I do however find the social convention of offering good luck wishes or congratulations to anyone who wins money in a game of chance at tad strange though.....!!
Surely its best to send our good luck wishes to people in need and lavishes our congratulations on instances of genuine achievement rather than situations where gain was by lucky-chance….

Jealousy, really? I disagree, and it seems unlikely.. If I'd just won £30k I don't think I would be on the Fab forums..Just my thoughts, obviously |

If he's lying to get messages, all that's going to happen is lots of greedy people messaging for meets and expecting him to pay and spend said 30k, he'll end up broke very fast if he's lying.
Maybe we should all keep our cynical thoughts to ourself and wish him all the best with his winnings, fictional or otherwise. |

" Maybe its just me but i have never heard this proverb 'all thieves think all people steal' i,m pretty sure you made that up,and why does suggesting someone could be making it up say anything about anyones mindset?of course it doesnt, either he won the money or he didnt, the two possibilities exist and only he knows the truth,it makes no difference to anyone else |

Yes really. Just because you wouldnt act a certain way doesn't mean others will do as you do.
And just because he is shouting from the tree tops why should that mean its not genuine? I think its a shame that nearly EVERY post started by a single male is instantly called out for being about trying to get a shag |

It is... a deposit on a house, clearing off debts which trust me once you have done is life changing.. I actually have money in the bank and my bank likes me now.... To me £30,000 would be life changing... |
