Not exactly enthralled. But other nations have tried to run Afghanistan in the past and failed miserably.
The power amongst the tribal leaders is too historically and culturally embedded for now to try and subvert, and it's supported by other nation-states who want to maintain or supplant with their own status quo.
It's ideological fighting over an inconsequential patch of grass at the bottom of the garden.
There are much bigger patches of grass to be concerned about. |

The Afghans should give the land back to the Chinese and return to Iran, remember those Buddha's they destroyed April 2001, they were there long before this Taliban debarkle.
America's done their time there, let the Chinese sort them out.

Biden was going to be shafted, whether he pulled them out or not imho:
If any US servicemen were to be killed, and he hadn't pulled them out. As per Trumps mandate. Then the right would have had a field day.
Because he's pulled them out, with 13 deaths. He's still copping it.
But leaving all that equipment behind, is a huge no no imho. |

"With all the hate and negativity in the world lately what's everyone's opinion on america pulling forces out of Afghanistan "
I suppose that the first question would probably need to be "Should they have sent troops in in the first place? |

Afghanistan will never be “sorted out” as long as it has a porous border with Pakistan. I think the withdrawal could have been better planned and not a route, but at the end of the day 20 years occupying a country is a bloody long time. |
