Late ‘80’s and early ‘90’s Peppers when they were all high and had the funk. Green tea and yoga just doesn’t seem to inspire awesome tracks!

So, nowadays I’d pick the Foo’s over the Chili’s

Always RHCP for me, and Under the Bridge, Californication, Give it away, By the way.

Guilty pleasures are The Zephyr Song and the Love Rollercoaster cover.

Totally get where people are coming from of late and disappointing concert performances.

I know this is all a bit of fun, personally though - They've both got their good songs & both got their crap album filler songs, like most bands! Probably the best stuff by either would have been on the earlier albums.

But instead of competing whose best of any band try listening to the others that exist & give yourselves an education!

Could you decide whose better between say Prince, Bowie, Chic, Earth, Wind & Fire, Santana, Van Halen, Metallica, Bob Marley, Third World, Specials, Who, Bad Manners, Cult, TNT, Elvis, Fanny, King Crimson, etc, etc????

Difficult because they're all equally as good as one another in their own way & styles!
