Alternatives to crazy Bear hotels

hiding from cock pics.

I was going to have a night away in a crazy Bear hotel, it's something I've wanted to do for years.

The only issue is that now looking at the reviews on TripAdvisor they seem to have really dropped their standards and are extremely overpriced.

It was a Groupon deal but still over £200 for the hotel and dinner.

Could anybody suggest anything that similar in a quirky hotel around the southeast?

This will be a special opportunity for me and I would be very disappointed to spend money on something that did not fit it's old reputation.

(I'm normally Premier Inn type girl so this will be something slightly more special!)

Looks really good and a friend stayed there recently and raves about it.

Derby

I've stayed at the crazy bear and although they look great in the pictures, they're not so great when you get in the rooms to be honest.

It was part of a Groupon deal too and even at that price I thought it was overpriced.

The room I was in was in a separate building on a rainy winters night and parking is piss poor so I got wet making my way to the hotel then soaked going to the room down the road, not the best start.

Not sure where else there is OP but for me I wouldn't be going back.

I have to say though the deep copper baths are bloody lovely.
