"Our kids don’t do either - they’re not fans of social media at all. I’m on insta just to look at dogs but bit a clue about tic tok

TikTok has great dog videos - addictive tbh. |

I don’t have tikt0k, but I’ve been lucky that my insta page has led to collaborations with some amazing creatives, so I don’t really feel the need to have tikt0k tbh. The people I work with don’t use it for their businesses.
I kind of don’t want to be on a social media platform that my daughter and her friends are on. Same as sc, I have it, but have been on it about 4 times maybe. But I guess they’re ok for those who do like them.

"I think insta is more long term better.
TikTok will die, like vine did."
Instagram is stealing ideas from TikTok - not seeming a leader of late. Who can say?! |

Whichever has the best brands watching for whatever your account is famous for. Instagram has a lot of brands for say home decor, so if that’s what you’re famous for you can do well from companies whom specialise in that. Tiktok for helping create the next fad for kids.
That’s my perception of it anyhow.

Most of them are just followed by bots anyway. Its a whole industry mainly in Asia who work out of things callled "click farms". People buy views and likes ect to make themselves look more popular than they actually are to gain "influencer" deals.

Depends on what line your in
If its modeling work ie promote clothing brands or and such ither for free clothing or getting payed then Instagram
If it’s more video related work then YouTube
Tiktok inst really turning cash flow to be honest

TikTok also uses a "chase the dragon" method to promote engagement
Youre first couple of videos will get alot of likes ect. These are not real. Or atleast the numbers are artificially inflated. TikTok does it so you are continuously looking for that same high.
Social Media is fucking insidious
Plus I try not to touch anything that is openly part of the CCP if i can help it

"TikTok is a pedos wet dream though
All these “dance challenges” that super young girls get pressured into doing
I see my niece doing then. It’s not right "
Just saw a new one called the "lick Challenge" or something like that.
Basically kids stealing stuff for TikTok clout
Video about it
