Why are you here?

A chat in my inbox made me think. I'm not currently looking or meeting, for my own reasons it's just not what I want from fab at the moment. I've chosen to stay for the forum, my friends and the fact I don't want to have to start another new profile if I change my mind. That baffles some people who don't see the point, which is fine they are entitled to their views. But it got me thinking about others

- if they are meeting or not?

-what keeps people here?

- will you change your mind again? - do you stay if you choose not to meet or delete you profile and start up again if you want to come back?

In other words, I'm a nosy bugger and I'm avoiding what I should be doing instead

- I have been on and off for about 5 years. I can't do the time continuously; I need to break from Fab for months at a time, then come back refreshed.

- I have "refreshed" my profile a few times (i.e. deleted and created a new one.). Sucks that you have to start out on the verification trail again every time though.

I'm here to meet with others and enjoy new experiences. I've never been one to meet frequently though because I prefer to get to know people first and that seems to be frowned upon by some simple because that's not what guys on here are supposed to do.

I'll continue to do it my own way though.

My priorities have changed in the last year due to losing my job. The company I work for now is very small but business is booming and helping to maintain that takes 6 day weeks.

Therefore the forums and meeting with a fwb when time allows is where I am currently but that may change.

I've considered deleting my account, several times. I have made friends from here who brighten my days and we talk off Fab. I am not looking for sexual encounters. I could leave Fab and be quite contented.

I stay because the Forum is a good distraction when I need it. I like to see the shenanigans my friends get up to. I enjoy chatting to interesting people who pop up occasionally. I have an annual site supporter subscription until next May.

May as well stay around for the time being.
