So I did a countdown to getting my hair cut....a few people off the forums took time to message me and ask if I was OK? I was and still am ok but thank you for those messages....so if someone messages you asking if your OK and you are just be grateful there are some nice people on here x |

There are.
A lot of people are dealing with their own issues and demons, so don’t necessarily have the energy to share. That doesn’t make them any less good, just handling their own stuff.
I’m glad that you have found support though, it’s something that most need at some point |

There are nice people on the forum who might be able to tell it was just a wind up countdown and not bothered posting on the threads or sent a message checking in. 
However, like Tea said, it's nice that people checked in on you.

There’s plenty I put in a comment about my depression earlier this week and a lovely lady messaged me not long after.
The people on here are no different than the majority of people in real life, some bad, some ignorant but a lot really will help if they can.  |

I've had so much encouragement and support when I revealed my deformity which was incredibly hard for me to do so there's plenty of lovely people out there.
I was so scared that day but all the kind words brought tears to my eyes in a good way. |

There’s some gorgeous hearted people on fab in general. I think the forums are a great place and plenty of genuinely good people will always offer a kind word.
When I had my wobble earlier this year when my mate took his life, even lots of guys PM to ask if I was ok and have continued to ask after me.
The ladies I’ve made friends with are some of the nicest people I’ve spoken to.

Agreed. I had a slightly down status a while ago, and the amount of people from here that I'd never even spoke with that checked on me was amazing.
Glad it was just a haircut too OP.

The people of the forums are exactly that…people! Because this is a predominantly a sex based site doesn’t mean that people then become devoid of making friendships from it. Like anywhere there’s good and bad people, we strike up connections with some and not with others that’s life. I for one have made some lovely friends from here who genuinely care about me and I them xx |

They're are some lovely people on here, I got a lovely voice note from someone after I posted something on a thread asking if I was ok and they were there if I wanted to talk.

There are, it’s always comes from where you least expect it, like for example I had a dairy farmer from the isle of sky ask how I was in myself, I dunno if this was a euphemism, or whether he was just checking how I am, as I looked a bit peaky. |
