I'm loving writing a little of this these days.
Movie script called 'Pain' is around 82% complete plus I have my Valkyrie's Saga of poems on the go  definite erotica in there after writing the latest installment 'Valkyrie's Seduction'

So we’ll just use this thread as an informal group shall we? Personally I just want to connect with other writers as writing can get lonely and it’s good to get inspiration. So anyone else actually making any money from writing? Cards in the table it’s my full time job |

Nope never made a penny.
Have a trilogy of semi autobiographical tales but never sent them anywhere! Personally believe they would make good soft core ish movies!!
Would be really interested in finding out how you made the jump into Amazon! |

Check out Literotica dot com: A lot of good reading, some of it barely erotic, but it's a good place to test your mettle. You can find editors and a number of authors then publish on patreon or, yes, amazon.
You can and will get feedback but treat it with caution, there are a lot of self involved idiots out there.
Be cautious with editors too, I have seen some utter trash supposedly edited!!! But if you find a good editor they will both guide the story and remember to put stops at the end of your sentences. |

Great advice. Literotica is a good start and a way to explore writing styles. Make some decisions. Are you writing in first or third person? What kinks will you include? Who are the characters and what’s their back story? |

I've written stories for here and a couple of kink sites. Don't know if I could write a 3,000 word one but god knows I need some money! I find it easy enough to write filth but the characters is another thing entirely. |

Well filth is the key. Is not an especially sophisticated art form. Just name and describe your characters a little . It’s the sex that sells. Dirtier the better (but keep it legal) |

If you don’t know where to start, write the short piece. Finishing is harder than starting so don’t give yourself too much to handle. |

I tend to just imagine the scene and the dialogue and then write it down. Unfortunately that means I often lose it as I don't keep a pen with me at all times and I have a bad memory. That seems a weird way to write tbh (my way). |

My way works for me because it gets the idea down on the page. From there I can tidy it up, use the correct grammar etc and tighten up the prose at leisure as I know where the story has gone. |
