It works great because I have opened with asking for consent. I've offered a way to decline and I've been honest with my intentions.
The usual response I get is a smile/laugh and 'go on then, let's hear what you got' |

Part of me was expecting much creepier, corny chat up lines.
'If you were a bogie, I'd pick you'
'I've lost my keys, can I check your pants?'

It actually is rather good. Reading it almost seems silly but in reality, with charming delivery it would make me laugh and I would either have a chance to accept or reject it. So both funny and asking for consent which can only be a good thing. |
