Just viewed a profile where the latest picture of the person is clearly 25 to 30 younger than the person in the previous picture. How does this get approved..?

They probably approve each pic as a separate entity. I doubt pic mods have enough time to scroll through profiles.

It's inevitable that some get through.

There's no rule that says you can't post an old picture of yourself.

I liked a Tinder profile of a nice looking clean shaven bloke. When we matched I checked out his other photos and they were a long haired/bearded unkempt Scruffy looking bloke.

His profile text said his picture was from 25 years ago.

I posted 30 year old photos of me as part of a forum thread. I clearly stated they were 30 years old. Ironically they made it onto the hot photos whereas my recent photos never do lol

Surely when its old enough, that it looks like its a different person, it should be.

I mean are pictures supposed to be a representation of what we look like. So if what your saying is correct I can post a picture of myself at 20.

If the picture is within the rules you can post it

As long as the photo is of you and you were over 18 at the time the photo was taken yes.

It is annoying because I met a guy and he'd clearly lied about his age and posted old photos. He was almost old enough to be my grandad and he couldn't understand why I didn't want to go through with it!

I spotted a new profile the other day with two pics (one face and one body) with completely different skin tones! I was bored at the time so did a reverse image search and found them both online
