I've seen a number of profiles say if you have load of verifications don't message them.
I by no means am looking to shame anyone with this but how many variations are to many for you
I personally find over 50 intimidating but thats me |

A verification doesn’t mean sexy was involved. If you attend a big social then you easily receive 20+ verifications in 1 day.
Also, some profiles are many years old.
People need to stop being so judgmental

We all have different ways to form judgements on here. For me personally the number can sometimes put me off but it's more a combination of the number and what's said.
That's probably because I'm not a swinger and sometimes it suggests an incompatibility. Nothing wrong with that. |

Apparently for women and couples it’s 2+ as I have 1 verification and struggle for a reply  |

This is why I hid my verification summary. No one needs to know and people increasingly use it as a way to beat others with or as a backhand filter.
Verifications are to prove that a person is real, not shag advisor or to shame others |

Depends what they say. I had about 80 at one stage but they were all social from a couple of group socials I went to. Some just see the amount and think you’ve had sex with 80 people in a month! I only show a few now to prove I’m real and never show any sexual ones anyway. Not even close friends know who I meet, I prefer it that way. I’m not a fan of veris myself. I do read other people’s though.  |

It's the content of the verifications that can put me off, rather than the number tbh.
Over the top simpering ones or really graphic ones, can be a bit eww.
As people have already said, many get verified at clubs and socials doesn't mean they've played with all. |

We have been on here for 8 years we have had over 100 verifications but less than a quarter are from meets where sex has actually been involved. We attend a lot of socials and can get three or four verifications from one social evening.
We once got told by a new couple that they would not meet anybody with more than four verifications as they didn't want to meet a couple who had shagged half the site. Did make us wonder what they will do if they reach four verifications. |

Verifications are load of ...
For those that require them should only need one updated every so often.
1) you are what/who you say you are and match your picture. The name implies this.
2) one every so often to say you are still what/who you are (couples in particular) you actually match your pictures - not pictures of you 10 years ago
But people like to show verifications, how popular they are or how shaggable they are.
For those that require this, maybe a trust-pilot style rating system 1 out of 5 etc |

People can build up a lot of verifications through socials, also some have been swinging years. Some people verify every time they meet (the same person) so they might get multiple from meeting the same one over time.

I have alot of verifications because I have been here for nearly 5 years and met many people. Most are social verifications as I have been to many large organised events and made alot of friends. Sadly I feel the need to hide most as people on here are too quick to judge when they see that high number. |

Verifications don't mean anything other than you met the person & they matched their photos
You could go to a club if a social & get veri's by 10 people doesn't mean you had sex with any of them
A lot if veri's wouldnt put me off someone I would presume it means they are reliable & fun |

I have a good few of mine hidden have been accused of "been around the block" because have a lot of veris and also accused of been a time waster as my veris are social meets only. |

It depends how you view the lifestyle and use of fab doesn’t it?
If you are a “party person/couple” then you are likely to have lots of verifications because that’s the way you interact within the lifestyle.
If you prefer more focussed or intimate engagements then you are likely to have less and probably maintain a small “stable” of like-minded friends.
Neither requires judgement or reproach. It is about choice after all. I have no issues with how people decide what they like. If someone has 100+ verifications or just 1 it means nothing to me and does not impact how I will engage with them as I am confident enough to know what I want from this lifestyle |

The only reason I look at them (other than sheer nosiness!) is when I see a profile I like if they have a load of veris exclusively from petite or gym fit women then I figure I'm not going to be to their taste and I don't tend to bother messaging - I'll wink or fab a photo instead.
When I'm looking I don't tend to take much notice of how many there are.
If having too many is an issue it's worth bearing in mind that I've probably met half a dozen people here where for one reason or another we've not left each other veris. The fact I have however many I have doesn't mean that's everyone I've met, but nor does it mean I've had sex with everyone who has left a veri. |

Ye it's a no win situation a lot of the time. I've also had people I met who have left then come back and asked for a veri then they veri me again so my number goes up again even though it's the same person. I now ask them not to re Veri me in those cases as one guy did it 3 times. |

We recently had 3 veris (all social no play) just from our first club visit since covid19.

If someone has a lot of verifications I'm not going to judge them. Do people really think that that's the tally of how many they have had. They could have zero verifications yet met thousands.
I've met way more than my verifications suggest. X

i think it’s often people who don’t attend clubs/socials who make such judgements. Why people can’t fathom that a verification can actually be indicative of having spoken to someone and had a pleasant non sexual encounter is beyond me.
But like every negative it has its perks, such people will avoid you so happy days |

so if youve been on fab fo 10 years and had 3 meets a year = 30 meets and thats hardly swinging is it lol,,,
think those that say these things are not quite thinking the whole swinging thing thro..
meet once a month over 10 years = 120 meets
we've been on the scene 28 years add all that up then its a rarther large number |

As said ^^^^^^ the clue is in the name. Simply should be confirm that yiu are who you say you are and match your picture. Regularly updated to accurately reflect you current status and looks.
Verifications are used for knotches on the bed posts, shaggability or merit badges. Also used for hookup directory like friends lists.
Guys think more verifications will get them more shags why do the keep coming into forums and chat asking for Verifications otherwise. Except they have the idea that's what women are really looking for - real men????? Hmmmmmmmmm!
Certainly if the fact of one Verification saying you are who you say you are isn't enough, need chapter and verse about encounters then not someone we'd interested in anyway.
