McDonald's Milkshakes

Bar Hill

So McDonald's are still having supply chain issues and have not had milkshakes on the menu for a few weeks.

They can still do McFlurry's, which are ice cream and similar to their shakes.

Which begs the question ....

What is in a McDonald's milkshake and where do they come from?

There was a guy I knew at university who swore that every time he went to a McDonalds, there was a Polyfilla truck in the car park...

Thay laying I play Xbox with state regional mangers

And form what I have been told is the milk sake masheens are costly to repair and service and clean and need to be cleaned ever day

And serviced and filters changed ever month

He told me that when they running close to they monthly budget cap head office tells them to just tell everyone there is none or they broken to save cost so they don’t have to service them

Mid you that was pre pandemic

They are very similar in texture but the sundae/flurry mix has an ingredient to allow it to freeze but able to still be poured whereas the milkshake is slightly above freezing agin so it can be poured and drank. Put the wrong mix in the machine can put it out of action for hours

Funnily enough I was made aware of this by my daughter

.. She reckons they've been saying "non" for months.. In all mcds... And it's because it takes a long time to prepare.. Or could be that they can't get milk and shake due to brexit I'd reckon!

Sounds bollocks sorry I can't see that McDonald's are struggling financially.

They where one of the few places open for the majority of the lockdown.

Even then they are hardly a company in decline.

Definitely can't see them having any problems at the moment. We popped into one on Friday night as we needed a bite to eat before going to a basketball game. It took them 30 minutes to serve us because they were too busy trying to fulfil the orders from deliveroo and just eats.

Think we only got our food when we did because I was just about to ask for our money back and leave.

McDonalds is just the franchisor, the restaurants are all small businesses of their own.

It's got nothing do with Brexit, it's due to covid and short of drivers

Nothing to do with struggling each shop has a serton budget cap witch means thay can’t go over that cap if they do it’s the shop manger that’s at fult

Then each state has a cap and if the state cap is bust is the state manger that’s at fult

Everything is factored in to that cap wages to brakes and spillage income isn’t reflected on that cap

The shops could be a million + for the month but still can’t go above they spend cap

My info comes directly from a high up manger state side
