I bet many of you open this and wonder who on earth Maria Mendiola was??!! … but if you haven’t seen it in the news, most of you will know exactly who she is when I tell you
… Maria Mendiola was part of an iconic 70s pop duo, who sang one of the true anthems of that decade…. And regained fame in a Cadbury’s advert a couple of years ago.
….. I am of course talking about Yes Sir I can Boogie, by Baccara, Maria was one of the original members.
Very sad.
